The British Video Association – the key UK organisation representing Britain’s Home Entertainment Industry – will be using Publicitymedia to manage and move digital assets.
The deal is part of a partnership agreement that also sees Maglabs to rebuild the BVA website.
Video entertainment is the single most valuable part of the UK’s audiovisual sector, providing content to suit every taste, age and lifestyle – that’s about £2.3 billion spent on 7,000 titles each year in both physical and digital formats.
So when it came to finding an entertainment industry technology partner that can meet a creatively and technically demanding brief, the BVA came to Maglabs.
As the organisation that is the public face of the UK video entertainment industry (as well as representing it to government, the media and other industry bodies) it’s vital that the BVA is able to communicate complexity in a clear and simple way.
The Maglabs Digital team is working with the BVA to develop the new website in time for the organisation’s annual meeting in November.
And, like many organisations, the BVA finds itself having to securely manage and move more and more files as part of it’s day to day operations. The Publicitymedia platform is a simple way to for companies to organise, preview and distribute video and image files or any size without the struggle of FTP or other file sharing tools.
Maglabs’ Joint Managing Director, David Knight said: “We are delighted to be a strategic partner to the British Video Association. They are an important organisation in the industry and we were only too pleased to establish a relationship to help them deliver their strategy and support their members”.
